Concept - Clockworks Tileset by Malakym Concept - Clockworks Tileset by Malakym
I recently found a few concepts on my computer that I thought would be fun to share. First up is the concept sketchwork I put together for the tileset used in the clockwork levels of Spiral Knights. Boswick did the actual final assets and nailed it, if I dare say so.

I remember these from AoD last year!

I think the "moodiness" might be partially due to the dark background. Granted, the background of the Clockworks is dark too, but it has a bit more variety of shade to it?

While Boswick nailed the geometry, these look a lot more gloomy than what is in the game.
Would be nice to see if the game could be as moody as these sketeches.
